Hebridean Air Services are delighted to announce their continued operation of the Argyll and Bute Council’s Scheduled Flights for the air routes between Oban, Coll, Tiree and Colonsay. The Oban flights also include scholar flights, bringing pupils from those islands who attend Oban High School, to and from home at weekends.

You can charter us for business and private air charter flights, air ambulance medical flights, film and TV work, golf tours, air taxi, aerial photography, crew transfers, survey work, government contracts, aircraft urgent spare transfer, telephone engineers urgent breakdown work, local authority transfers between islands, bird surveys, pleasure flights and scenic tours, horse racing - jockey transport. Air Ambulance Hebridean Air Services also operate Private Air Ambulance Medical flights to serve the Highlands and Islands of Scotland with repatriation to the main hospitals in Scotland and England, as well as transfers to meet jet aircraft for International transfer flights. Our aircraft is equipped with a Lifeport stretcher and sled.
Based at Cumbernauld Airport, equidistant from Glasgow and Edinburgh Airports, but we can pick you up from any airfield. We use Britten Norman Islander twin engined aircraft for their suitability for flying in Scotland, their safety and for their ability to operate in and out of all the remote Island airfields. All of our pilots are carefully chosen for their many hours of experience flying the Britten Norman Islander aircraft in Scotland, a land of wild landscapes and unique weather patterns. At our Cumbernauld base, our engineering sister company, Cormack Islander Aircraft which has specialised in the re-furbishment and maintenance of Britten Norman Islander aircraft for over 30 years, is on hand to fully carry out all our maintenance needs.
